Six out of eight people who sustained injuries following last evening’s grenade explosion in Kimironko have been discharged. According to authorities at Kibagabaga Hospital, two people who remained in critical condition were transferred to Kigali Teaching Hospital. Meanwhile, Police remains vigilant and is calling upon the public to cooperate with authorities in order to ensure that similar incidences are detected before they happen. “We remain on high alert and vigilant. We therefore call upon the general public not to panic and instead cooperate with us in reporting any suspicious activity to the nearest authorities,” Police Spokesman Supt. Theos Badege said.
